Someone said, “God has not changed. He is saying the same thing as before – Love your neighbour; Love your enemies;”
But, we are still unable to do what He commands. In fact, the world is getting less and less sensitive towards sin. Many things are considered acceptable because times have changed. No! No! No! The human race is being terribly deceived! I hate to see young people fall into the snares of the enemy…
I have been told, “You don’t have to teach me!” The door was closed. Those words were like daggers pierced into my heart.
The battle is in the spiritual realm. We may not be aware but we are fighting with the evil one everyday. He uses the words we say, the things we do for evil. The Bible tells us to pray continually and do not grow weary.
There is nothing better than giving up everything (surrender all) and stepping into a passionate love relationship with God. The best solution is to open the door of our heart and let Him in (Revelation 3:20).
I once had a conversation with someone (S):
YL: That’s not true!
S: But it’s not a lie. It’s just a ‘half truth’.
I am reminded (by the Holy Spirit) that the serpent had craftily told Eve, “You will not surely die, for God knows that when you eat of it YOUR EYES WILL BE OPENED, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Many things are beyond human comprehension. We need God’s counsel at all times.
Dear Father God,
Teach me, O LORD, to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end. Give me understanding, and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. Fulfil your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good. How I long for your precepts! Preserve my life in your righteousness. (Psalm 119:33-40)
Your Word - I choose to meditate day and night.
Father God, I want to love what You love and hate what You hate. Give me discernment so that I may see and understand, stand in the gap and pray.
Father, please also give me a pure heart that I may see You, a humble heart that I may hear You, a heart of love that I may serve You, and a heart of faith that I may abide in You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
