THE EMPOWERMENT OF CHRIST BRINGS US FREEDOM!

04 May 2021

“And deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

— Hebrews 2:15

Our fear of death is ironic. We fear, so we prepare for the end and this preparation subjects us to being enslaved to our jobs, commitments and possessions.

We rob ourselves of truly enjoying the life God wants us to have:

- time playing with kids

- strengthening relationships with spouse and family,

- time marveling at God’s beautiful creations.

Death loses its sting when we know we have been redeemed by the blood of Christ and live with an eternal perspective not temporal.

Because of Jesus, we not only live forever but we can live free right now!!

In Jesus’ name we declare this!!

Amen and Hallelujah!!

BELIEVING THAT WE ARE LOVED FIRST BY GOD CHANGES US TO LOVE OTHERS

1 May 2021

“Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.

— Proverbs 21:21

After hearing God’s word and believing in faith upon what Jesus has done for us at the cross, our lives should be different.

We are called to be kind and forgiving, developing excellent morals. But it seems like an overwhelming objective to achieve.

The key to achieving it is:

- Not by our own efforts or works as all the negativity will only be bottled up and exploded as we feel like we are compromising or giving in.

- By the help of a higher power (the Holy Spirit that lives in us) that’s more gracious and righteous then anyone can ever be.

This Holy Spirit works in us to receive today’s world of anger and jealousy and dissipate it out as grace and tenderness to people around us!!

Hallelujah!!
