Do you look at the world around you in despair?
Take heart, God has already acted. He knows what is to come. He knows the end from the beginning. The Spirit and the Bride (the Church) say, “Come! Whoever is thirsty, come! Whoever wishes, come and take the FREE GIFT of the WATER OF LIFE. Come!”
Oswald Chambers (OC): All the great blessings of God are finished and complete, but they are not mine until I enter into a relationship with Him on the basis of His covenant.
What is the basis of the God-and-man relationship?
Man must go beyond the physical body and feelings in his covenant with God, just as God goes beyond Himself in reaching out with His covenant to man.
Whenever I encounter God on the basis of His covenant, LETTING GO and LETTING GOD take over, the sense of personal achievement faded and disappeared. Whenever God steps into a situation, I know it. Most of the time He works through man but I know it is His Divine Intervention that took care of everything for me. Hallelujah! Praise the LORD!
I rejoice with an overwhelming sense of being loved by Him. My life will never be the same again. My inner being will always be full of His peace and joy.
However, just like any human relationship, I must play my part. What is expected of me? Just like any human father, He expects trust (faith), respect (reverence), honor and obedience. For more details, read your Bible.
Many people say that we cannot out-give God. That is so true! He will surprise you when you least expect it. He will give you more than you can imagine. His timing is perfect. His gift is perfect.
Joy of the Redeemed (Psalm 35): The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom… Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you.” The ransomed of the LORD will walk on a highway – the Way of Holiness. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Amen!
