What we ‘can see’ becomes our perception. A man’s vision is limited. God’s vision – His Plan – is beyond our imagination. What God sees is infinite and eternal.
If I can see what God sees – it would be too much for me …
Dear Father God,
This morning, I pray for those who are in need: the hungry, the cold, the homeless, the hopeless, the helpless, the sick, the lonely … as well as those who are ‘not in need’: the wealthy, the healthy, the self-sufficient, the intellectual, the successful …
Fill each one of us with the knowledge of Your Will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May we live a life worthy of You. May we please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to You Father God, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. (Colossians 1:9-12)
The Bible says that Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. Christ is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And Christ is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in EVERYTHING He might have the supremacy. Amen. (Colossians 1:15-18)
May every human being on earth know who he (she) is. May we know whose we are.
Then, we will have no doubt about our personal identity because we belong to You. We are Yours – each and every one – for all eternity. And to know You is to know that Your love is infinite and eternal. Hallelujah!
In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.
To Whom It May Concern – sing with me:
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth; Would care to know my name; Would care to feel my hurt; Who am I, that the bright and morning stars; Would choose to light the way; For my ever wandering heart;
Not because of who I am; But because of what You’ve done; Not because of what I’ve done; But because of who You are;
I am a flower quickly fading; Here today and gone tomorrow; A wave tossed in the ocean; A vapor in the wind; Still You hear me when I’m calling; Lord, You catch me when I’m falling; And you’ve told me, who I am;
I am Yours.
