At every place we visited, there was a spiritual lesson to learn. While we saw the hardened ground, our dear brother saw the soil … With great determination and strength, he plowed the land … I saw Elisha plowing with 12 yokes of oxen …
The Holy Spirit spoke, “All things are possible with God. Do not lose heart. Do not be afraid. Just trust in God.”
“Yes! I will trust in the One who can save! Amen!”
My resolution: I will open my eyes to see and learn from others.
My prayer: Father God, please open my eyes so that I can see and learn. Amen.
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
Dear Father God,
Open my eyes so that I can see what You want me to see.
I see that the best of humanity is only human – imperfect and inadequate. I pray that my faith does not rest in human ideas but in Your ideas. Help me to rely on Your ideas alone. Amen.
Open my eyes so that I can see the truth.
Open my eyes so that I can see the needs of others.
Open my eyes so that I can see learn what You want me to learn.
Open the eyes of my heart so that I can love the way You want me to love.
In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen!
I also want to pray for all my brothers and sisters in Christ. We are many parts but one body – one team – Team Jesus – let our eyes look straight ahead, fix our gaze directly before us.
Make level paths for our feet and take only ways that are firm. Let us not swerve to the right or the left; keep our feet from evil. (Proverbs 4:25-27)
In Jesus’ most precious name I pray. Amen!
