CHURCH CAMP 2017 - ABOUND

On June 7th, Cairnhill moved from a season of abiding in Christ into the season of abounding in L.I.F.E..

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
— 2 Corinthians 9:8

As children of the Living God, we have all been richly blessed – for Christ has come that we may all “have life, and have it more abundantly” (John 10: 10b, KJV). This is God’s plan for ALL of us, without exception – all have the legacy of abundant life, so that we can ALL in turn be ministers to bless all those around us in Christ’s name.

Our campers have several testimonies to share:

“The entire church camp experience exceeded my expectations in so many ways. I was blessed by the messages of Pastor Marios Ellinas, who spoke with a lot of revelation. I am also grateful that I managed to spend some personal time with him. Chantelle and Elliot had so much fun participating in the activities which were so thoughtfully planned out by Amy and her family. I was heartened to see the many pictures of the kids playing and kneeling to pray to the Lord. I’m definitely coming for the next camp! Thank you for making it happen Pastor! We were mightily blessed!
— Mario Singh
“This year’s church camp was an absolute blast! i was extremely blessed to have been there, and to meet new people as well as grow spiritually. this year’s camp was not only a welcome pause on the rat race but it also allowed me to truly let go of my burdens and be reminded to let god take control. thank you camp comm!
— An Anonymous youth
“We signed up for church camp looking forward to “come away by ourselves, with our Lord, to a quiet place and get some rest”. We were expectant to encounter our Lord. And we certainly did! In a quiet but powerful and deep way! Over the few days in Melaka, the Lord nourished us, lifted our spirits, opened our hearts, renewed our thinking and reaffirmed our identity and His Promises to us. Praise Him for His gift and His patience and faithfulness... Now having received this Treasure, I resolve to be a faithful “jar of clay” to bring the same to others in what I do and say.
— Aung San

We had the privilege of having Pastor Marios as our camp speaker and also Amy Tan and family from One Kids Ministry and Aunty Nancy to minister to our children. Pastor Marios brought us through lessons about honour and hiddenness, citing several funny stories about his life along the way. Each of us were warmed up to receive the powerful revelation he had to give us from the Word.

At the end of the camp, we joined together as a family to partake in the Holy Communion, remembering that we are one in the body of Christ. This privilege to belong in God’s family is because He has shed His blood for us. His body was pierced and broken for our iniquities and our healing. Maintaining this spirit of unity, Cairnhill will definitely abound much for His kingdom.

We serve an unlimited God who is looking for people to transform the world. He is looking for those who will say yes to Him to co-labour with heaven, so that heaven will be brought down to earth so that Jesus can reign forever. May we all, as a church, become powerful and effective witnesses for our Lord Jesus Christ, more and more each day.
