For about a month before Christmas, our members were rallied to create handmade Christmas cards, practice some carols, and contributed to an offering for our Christmas event at BMV.
As usual, our BMV friends arrived very early. Our team was getting nervous as we tried to set up and rehearse as quickly as possible to give them the best performance we could.
Ming Thai opened the event with an introduction about the spirit of Christmas.
Afterwards, the choir entered the stage to sing 6 carols and invited the seniors to join in the singing and clapping. We sang louder and louder with great cheer as we saw faces lighting up with smiles.
The seniors enjoyed the performance so much, we regret that the 30 minutes might have been too short.
But, there's always a next time.
