The parable in Luke 15:11-32 is often referred to as the Parable of the Prodigal Son. The younger son squanders his inheritance, the older bother responds bitterly to his father’s forgiveness of his undeserving younger brother and the father tries to make peace between and with his sons. But the parable in Luke 15:11-32 is more than about a family dispute – it is about Jesus ending our spiritual exile and God celebrating the return of His people.
Review each of the characters in this parable. What impact does each of them have on you?
