PSLE Blessings Sunday

17 September 2017

It is more blessed to give than to receive
— Acts 20:35b

As the PSLE exams near the corner, the older brothers and sisters from BlazeInC Youth started an initiative to prepare study packs for the P6s. Jing Xuan and Edric shared with the P6s how God guided them through their major exams and encouraged them, before the rest of the BlazeInCers came to the class to bring some joy and cheer.

As part of living out the BlazeInC Youths mission, we believe in showing love to everyone and verbalising encouragement and support for one another.

We truly want to bless the P6s. Join us as we pray for all P6s taking their first major exams:

  • Good quality sleep
  • Good time management and focus when they revise
  • Speed, accuracy and good memory recall when they do their papers
  • That they will draw nearer to God and experience His provisions

Undignified Worship Camp 2017

8 September 2017

The September school break was an opportune time for the children to learn more about worship and go into deeper worship to God. It was a fun day filled with activities!

What may sound like a strange name for a worship camp, "Undignified" is a platform to encourage children to express their worship to God unashamedly. Just as David danced before the Lord without a care in the world, we are free to worship him however we want to. No dance or musical background was required but only a heart to worship God.

God deserves worship because He gave us life. We were created to offer our whole being to worship God. Worship dance isn't a performance for human entertainment. Not only does dance edify and bring comfort to others, it is also an expression of joy, victory of our salvation, interpreting scriptures and being witness of God's goodness to people. We had the privilege of having Nigel Goh from Anesti Ministries and Audrey Lee to teach these fundamental truths about worship!

Here are some photos of enthusiastic worshippers:

Futsal Fellowship

11 August 2017

Friday Futsal Fellowship had us headed for a good weekend!

This was held at Singapore's first indoor soccer stadium - The Cage. The venue was perfect for families as there were age-appropriate pitches for all ages to enjoy, without needing to worry about the rain. We had a good mix of adults, youth and children on the field making the matches light-hearted yet fun.

Perhaps, the highlight of this event was the last game where the youths competed against the adults. More Futsal Fellowships to come - stay tuned.
