This morning, I am reminded that I have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. My new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God (1 Peter 1:23).
What a great reminder! I have been reminding myself that life is short… and we must do more while we can… I see the wondrous perspective about ‘LIFE’ – whoever believes in Jesus Christ shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
Relationships with our brothers and sisters-in-Christ are designed to reflect God’s kingdom. Why do we fail? Most of the time, it is pride. Sometimes, it is jealousy. How can we ensure that our relationships are truly healthy and life-giving? How can we establish appropriate boundaries as we reach out with the love of Christ to others?
Dear Father God,
Fill us with the Holy Spirit. Enable us to follow Jesus’ footsteps. He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in His mouth. When the spiritually blind hurled their insults at Him, He did not retaliate. When He suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly.
By His wounds we have been healed. We want to stay healed. We must remember that we were like sheep going astray, but we have chosen to return to the Good Shepherd and Overseer of our souls.
In Christ, we can continue the good works – hearing (like Jesus) and healing (like Jesus). Humility (like Jesus) is a pre-requisite.
Hear our prayer. Give us the desires of our heart. We want to exalt You, glorify You, magnify You, praise You, thank You, honour You…
We love You with all our heart and all our soul and all our mind.
Amen! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
