In 2013, I experienced the fear of abandonment. It was an absurd imagination of the future. But, through the miraculous hand of God, I found myself sitting at the feet of an anointed speaker from Mongolia. God told him to speak on fear at a ‘Life in the Spirit’ seminar organized by Rhema Bible Training Center Singapore (RBTCS). Faithfully and obediently, he spoke on all kinds of fear. To my amazement, the first kind that he spoke on was ‘fear of abandonment’. Every word entered my spirit powerfully – comforting me, reassuring me and healing me completely. I went forward for prayer and was totally delivered from the fear that was increasing its grasp on me. Thank God for seminars. Thank God for His servants who travel places - building up and strengthening the Body of Christ. Hallelujah!
David the psalmist was used by God to teach us how to handle our ups-and-downs in life, difficulties and even life and death situations. David had sinned terribly. He was not a perfect man. Like David, we can also come before God in truth and repentance. God in His mercy, will lift us up usually slowly but surely. Of course, God can lift us up quickly or miraculously. For me, I need the slow and steady delivery process. Why? I guess it has something to do with my personality. I like to ‘chew’ on things… taste and know that God is good.
Dear Father God,
Thank You for Psalm 27. Thank You for the writer of this psalm. Thank You for songwriters. I’m thinking of someone who wrote a song through the meditation of Psalm 27:4
The word I hear today is “WAIT” – let God know your situation and your feelings no matter how ridiculous you may sound. He sees your heart. He knows everything. He already has a plan for you. Just let go and let God take over. He loves you. He died for you. What else will He not do for you?
The LORD is your light and your salvation – whom shall you fear? The LORD is the stronghold of your life – of whom shall you be afraid?
The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as KING forever. The LORD gives STRENGTH to His people; the LORD blesses His people with PEACE.
Amen and Amen!
