Growth begins with good questions. But if the questions never get asked or answered, growth stalls. A lot of people live and die without answers.
One day, I was facing a difficult situation. God asked me, “Who are you?” My immediate answer was, “I am a child of God. I live in Christ.” The answer strengthened me miraculously…
On another day, I was absolutely confused. I told myself to stop thinking. At that time I was in a bus. A passenger boarded the bus wearing a T-shirt with big letters “THINK” – my eyes widened…
“Think like Jesus.”
One more example: I was exhausted (and burned out) after teaching a class of difficult children in Sunday school. As I was walking along the corridor, God spoke…
“What joy are You talking about?” I was angry!
A continual dialogue with God is possible. We just need to practice talking to Him and listening to His voice. He is a Faithful Friend, always present.
Sometimes, the questions and answers are so quick that I am not sure whether it is His voice or my own...
Dear Father God, I want to hear Your voice clearly. I want to think clearly. I want to enjoy my work. I am born again. I am filled with the Holy Spirit. I believe Christ is risen and He lives in me! Hallelujah! Amen!
The God who made the world and everything in it is the LORD of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. The Bible says “IN HIM, we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28) Thanks be to God!
Our God is NOT like gold or silver or stone – an image made by man’s design and skill.
An Easter Blessing: Accept Him and you will understand.
