Grace is God working in the life of a Christian to accomplish what he or she cannot accomplish. As the year draws to a close, most people would reflect on their accomplishments and disappointments. It is also natural to decide on what to do next. I pray that every Christian (myself included) will be a living sacrifice, that we will shine like stars in the universe and be what God wants us to be – blameless and pure.
Below are my 4 steps for spiritual transformation:
When we fast, we hunger. Our hunger is for God. Nothing satisfies our hunger except God. When we hunger for God, we feed. Our food is the Word of God. Nothing nourishes our spirit, soul and body except His Word. When we continually meditate on His Word, we will see Him. God washes our inner being, sanctifying (setting us apart) and transforming us into His likeness. Our ultimate desire is to be one with God. Our eyes are fixed on Him. Our minds are on things above, not on earthly things.
Jesus’ Prayer for All Believers
God’s desire is for all His children to be filled with the fullness of Himself.
Apostle Paul wrote:
As spiritual warfare is imminent, we must [continually polish and] put on the Armour of God at all times, standing strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Dear Father God, make us strong in You. We pray that whenever we open our mouths, words will be given us so that we may fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which we are ambassadors of Christ. Amen!
The Bible says:
Thanks be to God!
