Common sense to me may not be common sense to you. That is because we are different. Your upbringing is different. Your experiences are different.
I may handle a situation one way. You may handle the same situation another way. The Bible says that Jesus has been tempted in every way. How did Jesus handle every situation?
Jesus is absolutely obedient to God and fully committed to His mission. In every situation, He is connected to the Father. He knows the Father’s heart. That is my prayer for all saints today. Let us be connected to our Father who is in heaven and honor Him in everything we do.
Our Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV)
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Jesus said: “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6:14-15)
When Jesus was crucified on the cross, He said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” (Luke 23:34)
Is there someone you need to forgive?
