“After all that I have done for you…” This is an expression of disappointment.
“If you do this for me, I will…” This is an expression of a conditional promise.
How do you feel when someone fails to meet your expectation?
How do you feel when someone betrays you?
I believe my God has feelings too. He is a Person. Therefore, He has a Personality.
What kind of a Person is He? He is the most excellent, perfect, flawless, blameless, purest… He is the Best Person. He is my Father in heaven!
I do not understand many things about God but I know that my God is a good God and He is in control of everything. His grace is sufficient for me.
The birth of Jesus is a miracle. The life of Jesus is unimaginable. He lived the life of a perfect man who resisted all temptations, overcome all challenges, adversities, persecution, insults and condemnation, and finally, He willingly allowed Himself to be nailed onto a wooden cross - crucified for all sinners.
When I told my cousin that I am a Christian, she said, “All religions are the same.”
Christianity is NOT a religion. Christianity is a RELATIONSHIP. It is the restoration of a relationship with the Father.
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit - they are ONE. So are we. As I write, redemption and restoration are taking place. God is working in us – all who believe in Him – to be ONE WITH GOD and ONE WITH ONE ANOTHER.
Dear Father God,
I was searching desperately and I found You - in Your servants. They surrounded me with Your love. You said,
You promised and You did it!
I recognize the sinfulness of my flesh. I recognize my inability to live a perfect life. I recognize that apart from Christ, I can do nothing (John 15:5). Therefore, I repent and return to You, my Father. Like the prodigal son, I return to my Father in heaven. Your Word says that You want all men (and women) to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Yes! All men (and women) must return to You O Almighty God, so that You may renew / repair / replace / refine / restore / reshape us back to YOUR IMAGE. Hallelujah! It takes time and our will to let go (relinquish our sinful flesh). Truly, to live is Christ, and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21).
Father God, I know that my body has a life span on earth. I know that my soul and my spirit live in this body. I know that Your Spirit lives in this body too. Therefore, I pray and ask in the name of Jesus that You cleanse me – spirit, soul and body – so that I may be found blameless on the day of Christ. Dear Holy Spirit, help me to live out my earthly life without any regret. Change the way I think so that I may know what You want me to do. I want to do it without further delay. Amen!
To me, the Best Gift / the Best News / the Best Promise is found in John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Father God, thank You for giving us the Best!

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the GIFT OF GOD – not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
