Quiet Time with Jesus – Redemption, The Forgiveness Of Sins

Tuesday, 1 November 2016

For about three months, I had woken up every morning with the word ‘mercy’ in my mind and on my lips.

Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who can stand? But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
— Psalm 130

This is my prayer: Father God, bless Your church! May Your light shine brighter and brighter! Let us fan into flame the fire for God! Let us set the church on fire – a fire that we can’t contain; a fire that we can’t control; a fire that will set every family, every workplace, every community, every nation where we set our feet on - to be ON FIRE FOR GOD! Hallelujah! In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfilment – to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
— Ephesians 1:7-10

Jesus has entered the Most Holy Place once for all, by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. His blood has the power to cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hallelujah!

God is good, all the time! And all the time, God is good!
