Sometimes, a dream tells me something about myself.
Psalm 19:12 says “Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.” David acknowledged that he had hidden faults, perhaps even unknown to himself and he sought God’s forgiveness for his hidden faults.
Every person has a blind spot. There are things we cannot see. We need someone to tell us what we cannot see. If not, we need to change our position so that we can see.
Dear Father God,
My vision is limited. Help me to see what I need to see, know what I ought to know, and do what is right in Your sight.
Father God, forgive our hidden faults. Help us to change our position so that we can see ourselves in Your true light. We do not want to look and go away immediately forgetting what we look like.
Remind us that the law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous. (Psalm 19:7-9)
May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, our Rock and our Redeemer.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
The Bible tells us that the angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them. Imagine God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. How comforting! How awesome! (Psalm 34:7)
