I am aware of His presence most of the time. It takes practice. When I’m happy with something or someone, I instantly thank God either in my heart or with my lips. When I’m not happy (for whatever reason, and with whatever emotion arising within me), I turn to Him. He is always next to me and He knows what is going on, even much more than me.
So, isn’t it better to ask Him, “LORD, what do You think?” or “LORD, what should I do?” or “LORD, help me!”
God is forever faithful. He is my Father. He is delighted when I turn to Him – share my happiness with Him, share my problems with Him, confide in Him, ask for His opinion, listen to what He has to say, respond according to His will ….
Every father loves an obedient child. Our Heavenly Father does not spoon-feed us. He does not force-feed us. He does not ‘trick’ us into doing what we do not want to do. Instead, He takes over only when we allow Him to.
If my life is like a car, I will give my keys to Jesus … Hallelujah!
I know my Father’s nature and character. I trust Him. Without any doubt, I will trust Him in all circumstances.
The Bible tells us to trust in the LORD with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; In all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Amen.
The Bible also tells us NOT to be wise in our own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. It will bring HEALTH to our body and NOURISHMENT to our bones. (Proverbs 3:7-8). Amen.
In the past, I had frequently impulsively made decisions on the spot, but over time, I have learned to PAUSE and ASK the LORD. And when I p-a-u-s-e, His PEACE He always gives me. Amen.
Dear Father God,
We are always hurrying from one place to another, from one meeting to another, from one task to another … We love to maximize and optimize. And then, we whine, “I’m so tired”
When You created Adam and Eve, they had time to walk in the Garden ... They were not worried. They were not afraid. They were not in a hurry.
Oh Father God, bring us back to that wonderful place where we can once again see You face-to-face; You are our Father God, always full of patience, kindness, gentleness, love, compassion, grace and peace.
May our days on earth be filled with the ‘Joy of the LORD’ - Surely, in Your presence is fullness of joy. Amen.
I have decided to forget what is behind. I have decided to press on toward the goal to win the prize for which You have called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Many people live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven.
Today, the Word of God says,
Paul said, “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:9)
How can I say the same words as Paul if I am not living in the way You want me to?
Take over Lord. I give you control. May Your grace be with my spirit.
Surely, Your grace is sufficient for me.
